- At age 23, Steve took his $11, 000 in savings and started SE Net, an Internet service provider which was later acquired by Ozemail
- He went on to launch PIPE Networks which, 8 years later, he sold for $373 million
- Steve is currently Queensland’s Chief Entrepreneur at The Office of the Queensland Chief Entrepreneur which supports the development of local entrepreneurs and small business by connecting them with the right opportunities, people and places to help them grow
