Do you normally abbreviate the date, by using the last two digits of the year? Have you considered how easy it would be to modify the date of important documents if you abbreviate the date in 2020 when signing?
If you abbreviate to ‘20’ then (for example) 15th February 2020 being written as 15/02/20 could easily be modified to 15/02/2018 or 15/02/2019 after the fact. Protect yourself, and the legitimacy of the documents you are signing, by not abbreviating the date.
