Paraplanner

Howe Ford & Boxer is a highly regarded, well respected accounting and financial planning firm located in Cleveland. Whilst we have an accounting background we have also been involved in providing quality financial planning advice for well over 15 years now.

Our strategy is to continue to grow and expand our financial planning team. This has lead us to create an opportunity for a bright enthusiastic individual to join our busy financial planning team in the position of Paraplanner.

Howe Ford & Boxer is a highly regarded, well respected accounting and financial planning firm located in Cleveland. Whilst we have an accounting background we have also been involved in providing quality financial planning advice for well over 15 years now.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

- To prepare compliant Statements of Advice (SoA) and Records of Advice (RoA) for clients under the direction of the financial
planners
- Demonstrate and maintain technical ability, legislative knowledge and strategy development
- To review client portfolios and ensure investments held and strategies adopted are appropriate
- To prepare insurances quotations and comparisons
- To prepare detailed Xplan projections including cash flow modelling
- To update client circumstances and objectives when required
- Managing the workflow to meet specified service standards and satisfying the requirements of the financial planners
- Liaising with clients at a professional level over the phone and face to face
- Ensure all client service issues are dealt with in a timely professional manner and in adherence with the company's performance standards.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Previous Paraplanning experience (minimum 2 years)
- Diploma in Financial Planning (Financial Services)
- Willingness to expand education via further studies
- Xplan (and Xtools) experience highly regarded
- Competent in Word, Excel, Outlook
- Strong communication and inter-personal skills
- Ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as in a team environment
- Desire to develop a long term career in financial planning
